Pee test could spare bladder cancer patients painful scopes

Summary
This study is testing a urine test called CxBladder to see if it can accurately detect bladder cancer recurrence without needing a cystoscopy every time. About 450 people who have had bladder cancer before will provide urine samples during their regular check-ups. If the test works well, it could reduce the number of uncomfortable and expensive scope procedures needed for monitoring.
