New knee pain drug CX-011 enters human trials

Summary

This early-stage study tests a drug called CX-011 for people with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis pain. The main goal is to see if the drug is safe and tolerable when injected into the knee joint. Researchers will also check if it helps reduce pain and improve knee function over 24 weeks. About 72 adults aged 18 to 75 with knee osteoarthritis will take part.
