New shot aims to ease knee pain without surgery

Summary
This early-stage study tests a drug called CX-011 injected into the knee to see if it safely reduces pain from osteoarthritis. About 72 adults with moderate to severe knee pain will receive the injection and be monitored for side effects and pain relief over 24 weeks. The goal is to find a new option for easing symptoms without major surgery.
