Custom 3D jaw plates put to the test against standard fixation
NCT ID NCT06978530
Summary
This study is testing whether a custom-made, 3D-printed metal plate works better than a standard, pre-made plate for fixing broken jaw bones near the joint. Researchers will compare how well each plate heals the fracture, restores normal bite force, and allows the mouth to open fully. The goal is to see if the custom-fit plate leads to better recovery and function for patients.
