First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether custom-made 3D metal plates are better than standard plates for repairing broken jaw joints. Thirty adults with recent fractures will be randomly assigned to one of the two plate types. The main goals are to see which method leads to better mouth opening, less jaw deviation, and stronger bite force after healing.
