First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether wearing custom-made insoles for 6 weeks can improve foot and body alignment and balance in people who had a stroke more than a year ago. Twenty participants over age 50 were split into two groups: one wore the insoles daily, the other did not. Researchers measured foot shape, body posture, and balance before and after the 6 weeks.
