Summary
This study looked at whether custom-made foot orthoses (shoe inserts) can reduce chronic low back pain in people with pronated (flat) feet. 110 adults with both conditions were randomly given either custom orthoses or placebo inserts. The goal was to see if correcting foot posture could ease back pain and improve daily function.
