Summary
This study tested whether curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric) can prevent Crohn's disease from coming back after surgery. Researchers compared curcumin to standard thiopurine drugs in 61 adults who had just had surgery for Crohn's. The goal was to see if curcumin could be a safer, natural option to keep the disease in remission.
