NCT ID NCT05816707
First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether curcumin (from turmeric) can improve healing of gums and bone after a tooth is pulled. Thirty adults with two badly decayed back teeth each had one side treated with curcumin or PRF (a blood concentrate) and the other side left as a control. Researchers measured soft tissue healing and bone density changes to see if curcumin helps recovery.
