Summary
This study tests a version of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) that has been adapted to fit local cultures in low- and middle-income countries. The goal is to help adults with borderline personality disorder better manage emotions, reduce self-harm, and improve depression and anxiety. Researchers will compare the adapted therapy to usual care in 220 participants to see if it works better in these settings.
