What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Awareness and Insight Modules (AiM) – a mobile phone-based program of daily reflection and meditation exercises
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a simple, low-cost way to support the mental well-being of children with cancer and their families during treatment.
What could go wrong
This is a very early feasibility study with only 40 participants, so results may not apply to all patients. The program may not provide meaningful benefits or be difficult to stick with long-term.
