Hunting for hidden clues: can we predict a dangerous lung condition before It's too late?
NCT ID NCT06081881
Summary
This study aims to find early warning signs that predict which patients will develop a chronic lung pressure problem (CTEPH) after surviving a serious blood clot in the lung (pulmonary embolism). Researchers will follow 100 adults who had a severe lung clot, using heart ultrasound scans to look for subtle changes in heart function. The goal is to help doctors spot this potentially serious condition earlier, when treatment options might be more effective.
