Searching for clues: can we predict who develops serious lung problems after a blood clot?
NCT ID NCT06081881
Summary
This study aims to understand which patients are most likely to develop a chronic lung condition called CTEPH after surviving a serious blood clot in the lung (pulmonary embolism). Researchers will observe 100 patients who had a clot to look for early warning signs on heart ultrasound tests. The goal is to help doctors identify this condition sooner in the future, as early treatment can be very effective.
