Heart wave analysis may reveal hidden recovery in lung disease patients
NCT ID NCT07522203
First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at 70 adults with a rare lung condition called CTEPH who are getting a procedure to open blocked arteries (balloon pulmonary angioplasty). Researchers want to see if special heart pressure wave measurements can better track improvements in walking, heart function, and quality of life than standard tests. Participants will have their heart pressure recorded during the procedure and complete walking tests, blood tests, and surveys before and after treatment.
