Heart wave analysis may forecast recovery in rare lung condition

NCT ID NCT07522203

First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This observational study looks at whether special heart pressure wave measurements can track and predict improvement in adults with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) who are receiving balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA). Researchers will compare these new wave analyses to standard tests like walking distance and heart function. The goal is to see if these measurements offer a better way to assess recovery.
