New hope for older lymphoma patients: antibody clears hidden cancer DNA

NCT ID NCT06828991

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study is for people aged 70 and older with a type of blood cancer called diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. After initial chemotherapy, some patients still have tiny traces of cancer DNA in their blood, which raises the risk of the cancer coming back. Researchers are testing whether adding a targeted antibody drug, mosunetuzumab, can clear that DNA and improve disease control. About 40 participants will receive the drug, and doctors will monitor safety and daily function using a special geriatric assessment.
