Blood test may personalize chemo for gut cancers

Summary
This study explores whether a blood test that measures tumor DNA (ctDNA) can help doctors decide if patients with colorectal or appendix cancer need more or less chemotherapy before surgery. About 48 adults with cancer that has spread to the lining of the abdomen will take part. The goal is to see if the test can safely guide treatment intensity and reduce the chance of cancer returning.
