First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a CT scan can be used instead of a colonoscopy to screen for colon cancer. Researchers will compare the results of 600 adults aged 50-70 who had either a CT scan or a colonoscopy to see which method finds more polyps and cancers. The goal is to find a less invasive way to screen for colon cancer.
