First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests a new computer tool that uses CT scans to predict how blood flow will change during major abdominal surgery, like pancreatic cancer removal. The goal is to help surgeons plan better and avoid damaging important arteries and veins. About 100 people scheduled for pancreatic surgery will take part. If successful, this software could replace the current invasive angiography method, which requires anesthesia and carries risks.
