Could a simple scan replace uncomfortable colonoscopies for cancer screening?

NCT ID NCT07342998

Summary

This study is testing whether CT scans could work as well as colonoscopies for finding colon cancer early. Researchers are comparing results from 600 adults aged 50-70 who had either a CT scan or a colonoscopy. They want to see which method detects more polyps and cancers during routine screening.
