Could a simple scan replace the dreaded colonoscopy?
NCT ID NCT07342998
Summary
This study is looking at whether a CT scan could work as well as a colonoscopy for checking for colon cancer. Researchers are comparing results from 600 adults aged 50-70 who have already had one of these tests. They want to see if the CT scan finds polyps and cancers just as effectively as the standard colonoscopy procedure.
