First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called CS0159 in 75 adults with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), a chronic liver disease. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and can improve liver health markers like ALP levels. Participants receive either CS0159 or a placebo for 12 weeks, followed by an open-label period. This is not a cure, but aims to better control the disease.
