NCT ID NCT06939374
First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests a new device that freezes high-risk plaque in heart arteries to reduce the risk of future heart attacks. About 30 adults with stable angina or acute coronary syndrome will receive the freezing treatment during a planned procedure. Doctors will use special imaging to check if the plaque shrinks over 9 months. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective for managing coronary artery disease.
