Cold wraps plus compression may ease chemo nerve pain in Women's cancers

NCT ID NCT06139458

First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding compression to cold therapy (cryocompression) works as well as cold therapy alone to prevent or reduce nerve damage caused by chemotherapy in people with gynecologic cancers. About 190 participants receiving paclitaxel will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see if the combined approach is more tolerable and just as effective at protecting nerves.
