Muscle-Boosting supplement tested for faster recovery after knee surgery
NCT ID NCT06925880
Summary
This study is testing whether taking a creatine supplement helps older adults recover muscle mass, strength, and mobility after knee replacement surgery. Participants will take either creatine or a placebo (inactive pill) daily for 12 weeks while doing their usual rehab. Researchers will measure changes in muscle, strength, and physical ability over 6 months to see if the supplement makes recovery easier and faster.
