First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking creatine supplements while doing supervised resistance training for 12 weeks can help men with prostate cancer who are on hormone therapy (ADT) maintain or improve muscle mass, strength, and physical function. ADT often causes muscle loss and weakness. The study involves 34 men who will be randomly assigned to receive either creatine or a placebo, and all will follow the same exercise program. The goal is to find a safe way to improve muscle quality and quality of life in these patients.
