Summary
This study tested if taking creatine for 7 days could protect thinking skills in 20 young male student athletes after intense exercise. Participants took either a placebo or creatine (low or high dose) and did high-intensity interval training. Their cognitive function was measured before and after using reaction time and mental flexibility tests. The goal was to see if creatine helps maintain academic performance after hard workouts.
