First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tested whether learning gentle craniosacral therapy (CST) self-help techniques can reduce chronic back pain better than progressive muscle relaxation. 76 adults with long-term back pain took part in group lessons over 12 weeks. The goal was to see if CST self-help is a safe and effective way to manage pain without needing a therapist.
