First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a powerful mix of chemotherapy drugs (FOLFOXIRI) along with standard chemoradiation before surgery can make rectal cancer disappear completely. About 38 adults with rectal cancer will receive the experimental treatment, then have scans to check tumor response. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective at achieving a complete response before surgery.
