New drug aims to ease pain after bunion surgery

Summary

This study tests an experimental pain medicine called CPL-01 in 112 adults who are having bunion surgery. Half will get the drug, half a placebo. Researchers will measure how much pain people feel and how much extra pain medicine they need. The goal is to see if CPL-01 provides better pain relief after surgery.
