New study checks if a simple exercise test can be trusted for heart and lung diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07281534

First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study looks at how consistent a special exercise test (CPETecho) is when done twice. The test combines exercise with ultrasound to check heart and lung function without using a tube inside the body. Researchers will enroll 30 adults who can exercise and have no unstable symptoms. The goal is to see if the test gives the same results each time, which is important for tracking real treatment effects.
