First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks back at 15,000 people with coronary heart disease who took a cardiopulmonary exercise test (a special treadmill or bike test). Researchers want to see if results from that test can predict future heart attacks or other serious heart events. No new treatments are given—the goal is simply to learn how useful the test is for predicting risk.
