Special mouthwash put to the test for healthier gums
NCT ID NCT06933368
Summary
This study tested if using a mouthwash containing an ingredient called cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) twice a day, along with regular brushing, improves gum health and reduces plaque better than brushing alone. It involved 136 adults with mild to moderate gum inflammation over 12 weeks. Researchers measured gum bleeding and plaque levels to see if the mouthwash made a difference.
