Sleep apnea treatment: why do patients and partners struggle with CPAP?
NCT ID NCT07150611
Summary
This study aimed to understand the personal experiences of people with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and their bed partners as they start and use CPAP therapy. Researchers interviewed 24 Italian couples at different stages of treatment to learn what makes it easier or harder to stick with the CPAP machine. The goal was to gather insights to help healthcare providers offer better support, potentially improving how consistently people use their treatment and their quality of life.
