Sleep apnea treatment: why do patients and partners struggle with the CPAP machine?
NCT ID NCT07150611
Summary
This study aimed to understand the personal experiences of people with obstructive sleep apnea and their bed partners as they start and continue using CPAP therapy. Researchers interviewed 24 Italian-speaking couples to learn what makes it easier or harder to stick with the CPAP machine over time. The goal was to gather insights that could help doctors provide better support to both patients and their partners, potentially improving treatment success.
