Sleep machine tested to tame dangerous nighttime blood pressure spikes

Summary
This study is testing if a CPAP machine, commonly used for sleep apnea, can quickly lower high blood pressure when patients with autonomic failure lie down. It will involve about 12 patients trying different air pressure levels from the CPAP while their blood pressure is monitored. The goal is to see if this non-drug approach can help manage a tricky blood pressure problem that makes treating dizziness upon standing more difficult.
