This study tested a new COVID-19 vaccine called ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 in over 1,000 healthy adults aged 18-55 in the UK. The goal was to see if the vaccine is safe and can prevent COVID-19. Participants received the vaccine or a placebo, and researchers tracked how many got sick and any side effects.
