Scientists test if antibody drug alters COVID vaccine power

NCT ID NCT04852978

Summary

This study aimed to understand if giving a monoclonal antibody treatment (casirivimab+imdevimab) around the same time as the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine affects how well the vaccine works. Researchers enrolled 295 healthy adults to measure the immune response and safety when these two treatments were given in close succession. The goal was to gather knowledge about potential interactions, not to directly treat or prevent disease in participants.
