First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This completed study tested a fast 'test and treat' approach for COVID-19 in Ghana, Malawi, Rwanda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Researchers interviewed 148 patients, healthcare workers, and officials to see if the program was practical and well-liked. The goal was to learn how to improve future responses, not to test a new drug or cure.
