First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at how stress from the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in the food environment influenced eating behaviors and weight in adults. Over 5,000 English-speaking adults aged 18 and older completed online surveys about their mental health, eating habits, and weight changes. The goal was to understand these relationships, not to test a treatment.
