First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026

Summary

This study used a special type of MRI to look at lung function in 42 adults recovering from COVID-19. Researchers measured how well the lungs were working at the start and again after 6 months. The goal was to understand lung damage from mild to severe COVID-19, not to test a treatment.
