Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 417 adults hospitalized with COVID-19 in early 2020. Researchers wanted to find out how many patients also had other infections at the same time or developed new ones during their stay. The goal was to understand if these extra infections affected how long patients stayed in the hospital or their risk of dying.
