Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 417 adults hospitalized with COVID-19 in early 2020. The goal was to understand how many patients also had other bacterial or viral infections at the same time or after their COVID diagnosis. Researchers collected this information to help doctors better anticipate and manage complications in future patients.
