Extra shots tested to arm vulnerable against COVID

NCT ID NCT05556720

Summary

This study aims to find the best COVID-19 booster strategy for people with weakened immune systems, such as those with HIV, organ transplants, or certain cancers. It will compare giving one versus two extra doses of approved mRNA vaccines to see which is safer and triggers a stronger immune response. The goal is to provide better protection for these high-risk groups against severe COVID-19.
