Summary
This study aimed to understand how the relationship between partners affects mental health and well-being as one or both face dementia. Researchers followed 544 older adults in committed relationships for three years, conducting video check-ins every six months. The goal was to learn how relationship quality, stress, and support influence depression, anxiety, and overall health during the progression of memory loss.
