Summary

This study followed 544 older adults in committed relationships for three years to understand how their relationship affects their mental health when one partner has Alzheimer's disease. Both partners answered questionnaires about their emotional health, caregiving roles, and quality of life every six months. The goal was to learn how being in a couple influences well-being during the dementia journey.
