New counseling aims to ease burden for parents of seriously ill children

Summary
This study tests a counseling program for 62 parents of children receiving pediatric palliative care. The program combines Watson's Human Care Theory and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help parents live according to their values and reduce the burden of caregiving. Parents will complete questionnaires before and after the program to measure changes.
