Summary
This study looked at how to better counsel transgender and gender diverse teens about birth control, specifically the shot called DMPA. Researchers talked to 35 teens aged 15-21 to understand what they liked and didn't like about the shot. The goal was to help doctors provide more respectful and helpful advice that fits each teen's unique needs.
