New heart pump trial offers hope for End-Stage heart failure patients

Summary
This study is testing a mechanical heart pump called the Corheart 6 Left Ventricular Assist System (LVAS) for people with severe, end-stage heart failure. The device is implanted to help the heart pump blood. Researchers are following 50 patients for up to 5 years to see if the pump is safe, if it works well, and if it helps patients live longer without major problems like severe stroke or needing another surgery.
