New heart pump trial offers hope for End-Stage patients

Summary

This study is testing a new mechanical heart pump called the Corheart 6 for people with very severe, end-stage heart failure. The device is implanted to help the weakened heart pump blood. Researchers are following 50 patients for up to 5 years to see if the pump is safe, helps people live longer without major strokes, and improves their daily life and physical ability.
