First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding core strengthening exercises (like abdominal work) to standard physical therapy can reduce pain and improve daily function in people with temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). Researchers will enroll 50 adults with jaw pain and compare those who get core-focused therapy to those who don't. The goal is to see if a stronger core can lead to less jaw discomfort and better quality of life.
